Through visual arts and storytelling, students will be introduced to the many shapes, sizes and colors that aquatic animals can be to avoid detection. Through role-playing, stories and interactives, explore the wet and wild world of penguins. Students will develop observation skills as they learn how to conduct a simplified behavior study. Beluga Basics
45 minutes, Class size 15-40
Enjoy the beautiful vocalizations of these graceful marine mammals as your group dives into the realm of the beluga whale. Students will don their thinking caps as they take on the role of research scientists. Echolocation and other fascinating beluga behaviors will be featured. Turtle Tales

Using stories and interactive games, your group will live the life of a turtle by exploring its diverse habitats. Reptile characteristics and differences between terrestrial and aquatic turtles will be explored through observation and inference. The on-site program includes a live animal encounter. Penguins

With an upright waddle and feathers that resemble a tuxedo, it is easy to perceive them only as cute. Penguins are, however, a diverse family of 17 species.
